How can I book in ?

Please email me at [email protected] or call me on 07745 528393 leaving a message. Please let me know how you would like me to contact you via email, phone call or text. Please do check your junk email messages as unfortunately sometimes messages can go astray. I do answer all enquiries.

What will happen at my first session ?

At the first session it gives you a chance to talk about what brings you to counselling. It is a great opportunity to see how it would be to share and work with me.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of sessions ?

There is no set amount of sessions that you need to have, I do ask where possible that I have at least one sessions notice before we end, this allows us to end in a way which is planned and anticipated this in itself can be a helpful part of therapy.

What happens if I don’t want to talk about something ?

That is ok, sessions can go at a pace that feel right for you. There is no obligation to say anything, we can go at a pace that feels right for you.

What happens if I need to cancel a session ?

My cancellation policy is a minimum of 48 hours and there will be no charge. If cancellation takes place within 48 hours a session price will be charged.

How do I make payment ?

Payment details are advised at the time of booking. Please note that sessions are to be paid for in advance. Sessions are charged at £50 for 50 minute sessions.

Do you offer any concessions ?

Yes I am able to offer a limited number of low cost sessions if we are working online or over the telephone. Please contact me to discuss further. I may offer a reduced student fee for face to face work, this would be determined on a case by case basis.

Do you accept EAP referrals ?

Yes, I am able to offer some EAP referrals, please do contact me at [email protected] to check or provide my details to your EAP who can contact me on your behalf.

How do you maintain confidentiality ?

I will cover confidentiality during the consultation and within a working agreement. I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office.

Do you practice under an ethical code ?

I am a registered practitioner with the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy) and I work to their ethical code (see link below).
